Artist's Comments: My artwork is even a surprise to me, now it has become my passion. I have also taken art classes with renown artists such as Joan Dixon of Canada, Bob Pennycock, of Canada, Lynore Deptula of Grand Rapids, MI, and
Roxanne Puchalski of Moscow, PA. . I am constantly learning new and exciting techniques, however acrylics are my favorite genre.

About the Artist
Vickie was introduced to decorative painting and attended her first class in 2003.
She is a member of the Hanover Arts Guild and the Society of Decorative Painters and in 2004 was selected from 350 members from all 50 states, Canada and 47 other countries to display her hand painted Christmas ornament for placement on the White House Christmas Tree in the Blue Room. In 2009 displayed an ornament on the Grand Salon Tree in the Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian, Washington, D.C.
Today she paints fine art and sells hand-painted note cards and many scenes on a myriad of different surfaces. She has sold her paintings internationally as far as Dublin, Ireland. She is continually learning new techniques and improving her style. She displays many of her pieces in her home and craft shows. At the moment she is working on commissioned pieces.
